Logan – Hit Movie of 2017

Logan is an upcoming American 2017 superhero movie including the Marvel Comics evergreen character Wolverine, created by Marvel Entertainment, The Donners’ Company, TSG Entertainment and appropriated by Twentieth Century Fox. It is expected to be the tenth movie in the X-Men film sequel and also the third and last Wolverine film after X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) and The Wolverine (2013). The film takes motivation from “Old Man Logan” by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, which shows Logan undertaking a last adventure in the post-apocalyptic world.


The film is directed by famous Hollywood director James Mangold, who also co-written the screenplay with both Michael Green and Scott Frank, from a story by Mangold and David James Kelly. Hugh Jackman acted as a Logan with same heroism and tiger claws in what is planned to be his last depiction of the character with Patrick Stewart co-featuring as Charles Xavier or famously known as a telepath and Richard E. Allow, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, Dafne Keen, Eriq La Salle, Elise Neal and Elizabeth Rodriguez are highlighted in supporting roles.


Leading photography of the movie started in Louisiana on May 2, 2016, and finished on August 19th, 2016 in New Mexico. The places included in the film were situated  Louisiana, Mississippi, and New Mexico.


Logan is planned to be released in the United States on March 03, 2017 in IMAX formats.

On November 5, 2013, Deadline.com revealed publicly that Twentieth Century Fox had started arrangements for another performance film featuring Wolverine, with James Mangold in talks to compose the scripts for the film, and Lauren Shuler Donner is coming back to produce the movie under The Donners’ Company. On November 13, 2013, in a meeting with Entertainment Weekly, Hugh Jackman neither agreed nor denied whether he had formally assigned to any project to act as a Logan. However, Jackman quoted that his contract with Fox, which allegedly should be signed again after X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) as he’s been working for them consecutively since X2 (2003). He likewise expressed, “I would like to do it with Jim and with [producer] Lauren Shuler-Donner because we had such an awesome ordeal. I’m glad for The Wolverine (2013).”

On November 19, 2013, in a meeting with¬†James Mangold reported that the pre-creation part of the film hadn’t started yet, nor the writing work of the punjabi songs movie.




Film editorial manager Michael McCusker was completing work on Mangold’s Logan, amid the time of October 7, 2016, wherein he talked about experiencing the dailies and separating them, and making sense of the structure of one scene which he depicted as a “complicated and multi-segment scene.”


On October 3, 2016, Jackman had given a report expressing to Entertainment Tonight, “We’ve completed the process of shooting. I just observed Jim Mangold today. He’s altering endlessly and completing that. There will be some stuff turning out in the following week or so.”


Visual effects


Chas Jarrett was the graphic designer and visual effect artists with the greater part of the visual effects for Logan.




On December 31, 2016, Mangold declared on Twitter that Marco Beltrami, who had already worked together with Mangold on previous hindi songs. The Wolverine and 3:10 to Yuma, would compose music for the film, making Logan the third movie. It had been previously announced that Cliff Martinez would be composing the music for Logan.








Logan is decided to be premier at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival between February 9-18, 2017 in Berlin, Germany, where it has been chosen to be screened out of competition nearby The Bar, T2 Trainspotting, and Viceroy’s House, before screening in the United States, in which it will start a worldwide release on March 3, 2017. On October 30, 2015, Fox publicly confirmed that Logan would be released in IMAX format.
